Randall Balsmeyer
Randall Balsmeyer is an Emmy-winning title designer, visual effects supervisor, and filmmaker.
He is best known as one half of Balsmeyer & Everett, Inc., a pioneering film title design and VFX company co-founded in 1986 by he and wife Mimi Everett. In 2001, digital post-production house Big Film Design acquired B & E, where Balsmeyer is currently Owner and Creative Director.
Balsmeyer is noted for his collaborations with filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, David Cronenberg, Woody Allen, Jim Jarmusch, Paul Thomas Anderson, and Joel and Ethan Coen. He is also known for developing the portable motion control camera systems used in Dead Ringers and Ghost.
He has designed the titles for films such as In & Out, The First Wives Club, Multiplicity, Fargo, Sleepless in Seattle, and Jungle Fever.
