Vijesh Rajan
Vijesh Rajan is a director, animator, and motion designer based in Mumbai, India.
Born in Trichur, Kerala, and brought up in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Vijesh's passion for cinema brought him to Mumbai in 2009. He has a master's degree in media production from Queensland College of Arts, Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia, and a diploma in 2D animation from Arena Animation Academy in Mumbai. He began his career as a junior copywriter at Ogilvy & Mather, Bahrain, and a copywriter at Gulf Saatchi & Saatchi before shifting into motion design and animation. Since then, he has worked on commercial, film, and music video projects with studio Plexus.
He has worked on title sequences for films Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), Placebo (2014), Angry Indian Goddesses (2015), OK Kanmani (2015), Double Barrel (2015), Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016), Baar Baar Dekho (2016), OK Jaanu (2017), Richie (2017), Solo (2017), and TV series The Dewarists (2011-2015), Inside Edge (2017), Sacred Games (2018), Made in Heaven (2018), and others. In 2018, the main-on-end title sequence for Solo was nominated for a SXSW Excellence in Title Design Award. Currently, he is Director and VFX Supervisor at Plexus.
