Yi-Jen Liu is a designer and concept illustrator based in Los Angeles, California.

Liu grew up in Taipei, Taiwan. Initially studying economics at National Taiwan University, she moved to Los Angeles to attend Art Center College of Design in 2008 to pursue studies in art and design. While interning at Imaginary Forces in 2012, she developed an interest in motion and animation design.

Currently, she is part of the creative team at Elastic, where she has worked as a concept illustrator for the main title sequences of Marvel’s Daredevil, Showtime’s Masters of Sex, and the 87th Academy Awards.
