The Mill
The Mill is a visual effects, design, animation, and live-action production studio with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. It formerly included a branch called Mill+.
Notable title design projects include graphics packages for the Academy Awards broadcast show in 2012, 2013 and 2014, as well as the title sequences for OFFF Festival Paris 2010 and St. Petersburg 2014. Their opening titles for History Channel’s Vikings (2013) were nominated for a Creative Arts Emmy in the Main Title Design category.
The Mill has created title sequences for We Are The Giant (2014), Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (2016), Sickos (2017), Skyscraper (2018), Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities (2022) and others.
Their titles for the film Manhunt: The Search for Bin Laden (2013) won the Outstanding Documentary Emmy and their opener to TV series Marco Polo (2014) won a Cannes Design Lion in 2015.
